After six years away, Swedish melodic punk band Sista Brytet return with their long-awaited third studio album, their most ambitious and finely crafted release to date. Building on the foundations of their previous work, the band once again combines powerful, anthemic punk with thoughtful lyrics that balance deeply personal reflections alongside broader political and social themes, exploring everything from heartbreak to youthful mistakes and the challenges of growing older.

Formed in 2010 by Fredrik Lindkvist as a way to rediscover the joy of making music following his time with Totalt Jävla Mörker and Knugen Faller, Sista Brytet quickly established themselves as one of Sweden's most compelling melodic punk acts. The band's line-up was completed in 2014 with the addition of guitarist Lars Kyösti, helping to shape the distinctive sound heard on acclaimed albums Livet Inglasat (2016) and Hjärtat I Handen (2018), as well as a series of EPs.

Having performed at festivals including Trästockfestivalen and Täfteåfestivalen, toured alongside Lastkaj 14 and played iconic venues such as Kafé 44, Sista Brytet return with renewed energy and confidence. Their latest album is a passionate, melodic and emotionally resonant statement that reaffirms their place at the forefront of the Scandinavian punk scene.
