King of the Mischievous South Vol. 2 sees Denzel Curry return to the Southern rap sound that helped launch his career. A sequel to his original King of the Mischievous South mixtape, the project introduces Curry’s Big Ultra persona—an evolved, more confident version of Raven Miyagi, the alter ego associated with his early Raider Klan years. After several previous attempts to revisit the concept developed into other projects, Vol. 2 emerged more organically, capturing Curry at his most spontaneous and assured.

Drawing heavily on the musical heritage of Memphis, Houston and South Florida, the project brings together an extensive roster of Southern rap talent and artists influenced by the region. Guests include Juicy J, Project Pat, Maxo Kream, That Mexican OT, Mike Dimes, TiaCorine, 2 Chainz, Kenny Mason, Ski Mask the Slump God, PlayThatBoiZay, Key Nyata, A$AP Ferg and A$AP Rocky.
