With their twelfth studio album, Silver Bleeds the Black Sun…, AFI embark on another bold creative chapter by revisiting the post-punk and gothic influences that first inspired them. Produced and engineered by guitarist Jade Puget, the album draws heavily on the atmospheric sounds of the late 1970s and early 1980s, taking inspiration from pioneering acts such as Echo & the Bunnymen, The Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus and Siouxsie and the Banshees. The result is a richly textured collection that blends death rock, post-punk and ethereal atmospheres into a cohesive and deeply immersive listening experience.

While looking back to the music that shaped their formative years, AFI continue to push forward creatively, crafting songs that feel both familiar and refreshingly original.
