Do It Afraid

Artist: Yaya Bey

Released: Do It Afraid

On do it afraid, Yaya Bey rejects limiting narratives and embraces joy, connection and vulnerability with fearless clarity. Blending R&B, jazz, hip-hop, soul and the soca rhythms of her Bajan heritage, the Queens artist delivers a set of bold, life-affirming songs that radiate strength through softness and humour through pain.

Her most effervescent and self-assured work to date, the album marks a fresh chapter as she reclaims her voice with music that’s deeply personal yet collectively resonant – a soundtrack for choosing joy, even when it’s hard.
